When is there a $charge to run track at WS Stadium, WSHS or Sealth? It is always free when I go – not that I go alot….

@quartermiler – There is a coach who is not charging his/her time. Maybe you were being facetious.

Quartermiler, to answer your question, never. We do not charge for our track workout group, its free, and has always been so. We do pay a coach to come up with the workouts, and we pass that information on for free to our group. Its one of the many things we do to build the running community here in West Seattle. We do a half marathon training group for new runners, and it is free as well. We also offer running groups on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Guess what, they are free too.
We feel its a local businesses responsibility to give back to the community that supports it, and this is one of the ways we do that.
Stop by sometimes and we can answer any questions you have about the groups, or running in general.
