West Seattle Crime Watch: Stolen pickup truck

ORIGINAL REPORT: Last night, we published reports of two cars stolen in West Seattle. Today – an F350 Harley pickup truck stolen this morning from Upper Fauntleroy:

It was taken sometime between 12:30 am and 11:00 am this morning from the 9000 block of 36th Ave SW. This isn’t an exact photo of the truck, but it’s close. The stolen truck does not have the outside chrome roll-bar rack, and the tires are different but otherwise, it’s a very close match.

Plate is B49938V. Call 911 if you see it.

UPDATED: Photo of actual pickup now included above.

The good news is that the truck was located this morning by Auburn police. The thieves that stole it were caught red handed, apparently headed to Montana. It’s in good shape, except for the messed up door lock and ignition. Much of the contents are still there. Nice to have a relatively happy ending to one of these stories. I guess there were a lot of drugs and paraphernalia in it.

Wanted to let everyone know that this truck was found yesterday morning, and the thieves were caught. They were apparently on their way to Montana, pulled over by the Auburn police. Drugs and paraphernalia were in the truck, along with a bunch of other stuff. It also appeared that they had towed something at one point. Many of the things of value were still in the car. Minimal truck damage except to the door lock and ignition. Few scratches here and there but glad to have it back. Thanks to the Seattle and Auburn police-we are so grateful.
