West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day countdown: 10 days to go

Those are just three excerpts from the seller-provided descriptions of the 330+ sales in the works for the 11th annual West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day, now just 10 days away, 9 am-3 pm Saturday, May 9th. We’ve read all 330+ of those descriptions as part of the process of making the WSCGSD maps (clickable Web version and printable/downloadable PDF version), which will be available starting this Saturday, here on WSB and on the official WSCGSD site, westseattlegaragesale.com. Three more description excerpts:

“Pre-estate sale: We don’t want to burden our heirs.”

“Pre-remodel de-clutter extravaganza.”

I made notes featuring more descriptions as well as also unusual items as well as miscellaneous observations. More moving sales than in years past, for example … one listing even trumpets that the seller(s) are moving to Europe! Also, bonuses such as lemonade stands, bake sales, coffee … and the sale where you are invited to meet their bunny rabbit. – TR

Is there a listing of folks who are doing benefit garage sales? I’m not having a sale, but would like to donate to someone who’s going to do good with the income.
