Ready to shop – or sell? West Seattle Co-op Preschools’ next one-day kid-stuff consignment sale set

(WSB photo, March 2014)
Last spring’s first-ever group consignment sale benefiting West Seattle Co-Op Preschools was wildly popular – and organizers are doing it again. News for shoppers and would-be consigners, from Erin:

West Seattle Co-Op Preschool system is very excited to be hosting a kids’ Consignment sale on November 8th from 9-1 pm at the West Seattle VFW Hall to help fund scholarships for families in need.

We are also in need of consigners, anyone can consign at this sale. The seller can set their own prices and will make 65% of the asking price and the host will take 35%. The consigner will be paid for the sold items when they pick up their unsold items at the sales conclusion on November 8th.

This sale will be a great thing for families to make some money with their gently used bay/kids gear and to buy low-cost, good-quality items for their kids; for the school system to be able to continue providing scholarships for families who might not be able to afford preschool otherwise; and to bring the community together! Sale info is also on Facebook and Twitter.

Yahoo! I loved this sale last spring! I made $85 in stuff that I sold, would have been great except I spent per $100…..

This sale is AWESOME and the money goes to a worthy cause – helping families in need provide preschool education for their children. I wanted to add that ANYONE can also volunteer to help at the sale and the perk is you get to shop first! Info about how to volunteer can also be found on the web site mentioned above.

I too spent way too much at last year’s sale but there was so much GOOD STUFF and so reasonably priced. I justified myself because I did buy for family and friends, too.

I will add that this is an AWESOME sale, and it is for a worthy cause! Also, anyone can sign up to volunteer, which you can find out about on the above web site. By volunteering, you get to shop early on the day of the sale!

Such good deals. It was awesome. And an additional benefit was to learn about an opportunity to join a class for one year olds & their parents. They even have parent/infant classes. As a parent I have learned so much & have met other families who are going thru the same things as our families. I highly recommend it.

Last year I was blown away by the toy and game collection, and the low prices, so with the holidays coming this should be another great sale!
