FYI: Rudy’s is NO LONGER A LOCAL BUSINESS. It was sold over two months ago. They plan on opening over 100 stores within the next year.

So it’s the little grey two story building? Or the yellow one that used to be West Seattle Motors? I’m guessing the grey one although I don’t see an auto bay of any sort there.

Diva should take the yellow one- same side of the street and better parking!

It is, as described, right behind Fauntleroy Chiropractic. If you drive/walk/ride east on Fauntleroy, you’ll see the building with the FOR RENT sign in the window – at least one tenant ago, it was part of West Seattle Montessori. – TR

Where is Richard’s new office exactly?
Richard is a great, nice and honest mechanic – we take 5 cars there and I’m only sorry I did not find him sooner! Glad he is staying nearby. Sad about Diva – it is so difficult to get good coffee in West Seattle so I hope they find nearby location? Could the ladies (Jenny, Jessie, Leah, Audrey, etc.) at Diva open up a coffee bar next to Richard’s new place (or build a second floor?)? I’d go – doesn’t have to be a Diva! Or, if they must leave West Seattle, move to Redmond across the street from Microsoft – great captive audience and horrible coffee there except for Victor’s in downtown Redmond.

Thrilled that Maestro found a place – and so close by. I recently started using them and am VERY happy with them, and loved that I could walk home after dropping my car off. Glad that can continue, plus it’s a block closer to home too!

Jason – that would be since the last time I looked at the file, my bad for not checking today, I finished this followup before running out of the house to the Parade of Ships. When we first reported on this Sunday, there was only the one site plan with a rough outline and the phrase “Rudy’s West Seattle.” Heading back to the “office’ right now from Duwamish Head and will add anything we can find – thanks! In addition to a barbershop, the permit also mentions a coffee shop. Any word on that? I know Rudy’s shares a building with Stumptown Coffee on Capitol Hill, and it sounds like the owner of 4480 Fauntleroy is also Rudy’s landlord at their Pine St location. Mallet has also worked on Stumptown locations in the past, according to Mallet’s website. I would love to have a Stumptown in West Seattle, so I’m hoping my hunch is accurate.
