What is realy funney is the fact that if the food comes off a food truck then the food must be good;. But you know some food trucks suck. just because it comes off a truck does not mean the food is going to be unreal .

I don’t know why everyone is assuming this has anything to do with the parks acquisition. The sign says it’s a dispute between the building owner and the dry cleaner. My guess – and it is only a guess – is that the dry cleaner’s lease does not allow them to host another business.

La Fondita in White Center is excellent food and hospitality. I love going there. I had no idea that they ran any other locations. I hope they find a good new location. They deserve to have success with the hard work and great product they put out.

That is a great idea, Karl. You should contact the city council or park district (not sure who would be best) and mention that suggestion. I agree, keeping the park active with vibrant positive activity might be a deterrent for the negative activites mentioned on the blog to take root there.

It’ll be addressed by whiners moving somewhere else. The Bridge is the best thing to happen to the neighborhood in quite a while.

Pity about the taco truck – would be nice if the park expansion included a pad for mobile food vending to give folks a reason to hang out in the park.

@Roddy–I think you confuse the residential community that is the Morgan Junction neighborhood with say, the commercial bar district of Pioneer Square. It seems to be a common mistake given the increasing level of late night noise since the Bridge open its doors. It is a problem. It will be addressed. Believe it.

Not related directly to the food truck but,
IMO, it seems wrong to take tax paying businesses, properties, and jobs off the City’s revenue stream, to be replaced by the perpetual revenue drain of another underused piece of park.
