I don’t believe the construction crew failed to put up warning signs, its more likely that someone knocked them down or the wind knocked them down.

Something is T/U at T5; it’s 1225 and *still* backed. T18 didn’t seem to have issues anymore when I looked a few minutes ago.

In reply to enough. Via Twitter, SDOT mentions "delays at Terminals 5 and 18" that they're checking on. I'll make a note to ask them later if they got some kind of answer about whether something unusual was going on today.

Is this why the right lane of westbound bridge traffic was backed up with semis to I 5? I feel bad for people getting off of I 5 trying to get to West Seattle in the morning .. Hopefully they know to get into the left lane vs sitting in the right lane hoping it will move.

Also, are people even able to take 1st ave onramp to westbound WS bridge when semis are stacked up like that/not moving westbound in the right lane?

Left house near AK Junction at 7:30. Now stopped in middle of lower bridge at 8:15. Lots of trucks.

Something is up on the Port’s access road that feeds into the traffic-light intersection on the west end of the low bridge. I went by at 7:15 and no port traffic was getting out of the port or into it. At the time eastbound traffic over the low bridge was getting waived through the intersection, but the truck backup beginning to stack up to the west was looking like it would be a problem soon, and the backup from the east was already very impressive.

Yes the lower bridge has not moved in 10 mins and semis are stacked coming off the upper bridge and clogging intersections. No visible accidents
