@ Rick – jeez – you fix the damn potholes, then!
@ NW – while I agree that the Find It Fix It app is bizarre in that it requires you to have your location settings on as if the designer envisions us reporting these problems as we drive…, none of us like you SHOUTING at us.
@ Anonymous – I agree the pothole fixing team’s responsiveness is awesome.

I reported the two potholes on my street at 4:30 yesterday (right when I commented) and once I made it home from work around 6:00 the city was on my street filling the holes! Super impressed!

PULL OVER DO YOUR TEXTING ,AND REPORTING POTHOLES TO THE CITY ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD NOT WHILE DRIVING 30 mph. Thank you

The problem here is not THEM, it is US.

It was resurfaced, but patches from new condos hooking up to water etc. we’re never done correctly. Seems that the builders should be responsible…

Thinking of filing claim with city. This city has really fallen behind on maintenance of our intercity roads. The longer they let them go the more costly it will be to fix, along with causing damage to what’s under them in places. But I guess they really don’t have the money with all their cost overruns on 520, 99 tunnel, and the million dollar a mile bike path on Capitol Hill : (

I just reported both of the ones on our street. Let’s see how long it takes to have them filled.

The answer from SDOT makes me sad. Next vehicle change (that we were thinking of doing this year) will be a large 4×4 with a nice cushy off-road grade suspension.

Where’s the complete list of road to be resurfaced for 2014? Sigh…

It’s like an obstacle course trying to avoid the holes over there.

Next on my wishlist would be 35th SW in front of the VW shop/Walgreens southbound inside lane. The previous shoddy pools of asphalt covering cracked concrete makes it feel like a dirt road. I wish they would just cut out whole sections and do proper repairs instead of asphalt bandaids.

Yes! Call them in to 206-684-ROAD or report online at http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/potholereport.htm
.
There’s also a map you can check to see if it’s already on the list, though I wouldn’t let that stop you from reporting it again:

We live down a dead-end road and there are two huge potholes that I doubt will ever get filled because it’s very rare for anyone that doesn’t live on our street to drive down it.
