Skateboarders of all ages are invited to get ready to compete at this year’s Delridge Day festival! Just announced:

Delridge Day and Alki Bike & Board are teaming up this year to bring you the second annual skateboard competition! The event will take place Saturday, August 17th from 11:00 am-4:00 pm at Delridge Community Park. Alki Bike & Board is the main sponsor for this event and is putting in time and effort along with the Delridge Day committee to be sure this event will be a fun success!

More contributing sponsors will be announced closer to the date of the event.

The event is divided into several categories to include groms: ages 12 and under, women’s: ages 13 and over, men’s: ages 13 and over, pro/am: the main event and master’s competition: 40 and over. Registration will begin at 9:00 am and end at 11:00 am. North Delridge Neighborhood Council (NDNC) is offering entry-fee scholarships and the community is welcome to donate to help kids participate in this event! Normal entry fees are $15 for all amateurs, $40 for Pro/Am and $25 for Masters.

The awards will be given out at 4:00 pm once the final competition is finished. There will be a grand prize for $300 for first place in the Pro/Am competition. Additionally, product prize packages will be given for all amateur categories.
