Someone tried to break into our attached garage, then tried the front door, started pounding on it to let him in. Door is glass. Very scary for me and my girls. He was gone by the time police arrived. I live on Belvidere in a residential neighborhood. All my life. In the last 6 years I have had my car broken into so many times I quit calling SPD. Same with my neighbor. The 3 houses across from me have had 3 cars stolen, 1 car stolen and 2 cars stolen. My mom’ car was broken into recently too. In addition to this someone frequently tries to open the garage door. It wakes us all up. It is very scary for us all and I sadly am going to buy a gun. Something I never wanted to do. But hey the good news is we are getting 5,000 more apartments so if it gets really bad I can leave my home and go to a “secured entry” apartment. After I finish my two full time minimum wage jobs at the stadiums.

Interesting. Found a driver’s license some weeks back and SPD wouldn’t guarantee coming by to pick it up, so we just mailed it back to the person.

6-8 weeks ago, I found a driver’s license, credit card, and half of a 2nd credit card laying in the middle of the alley not far from my house. They all belonged to the same Bellevue woman. Called the SPD non-emergency line and an officer came to the house about an hour later to pick them up. I hope it all turned out well.

My car was broken into, stereo and GPS stolen last night. On 34th bw Webster and Holden. Any one else get hit?

She could call the bank also and give them the card number and persons name. They can notify them that the card was found. She could drop it off at a bank branch.

Dana, so sorry you were burglarized. Maybe the thief is using your Wii controllers to play with our stolen Wii console. LOL
