West Seattle weather: Sunny weekend; maybe rain NEXT weekend

Thanks to Marty Westerman for the beautiful sunset view from Fauntleroy tonight. The National Weather Service says the sunshine will continue through the weekend and into the start of the week – but MAYBE by next weekend, some rain, says tonight’s “forecast discussion“: “By later [next] Friday into Saturday, there is a chance that Western Washington will see some light rain, ending our recent dry streak.”

I wouldn’t mind some rain. All this sunshine’s been making me feel guilty. Can’t explain. But could use some rain.

Looooove the sun! We didnt get summer until july 4! Lets enjoy a little longer. There’s a long long grey winter comin’.

We’ll take the blame for this dry streak we’re having! Did retaining wall work in July so we need the rain for the dirt…no rain, bought a convertible in ’05 it rained forever that year…it’s a V8 gas prices shot thru the roof that year too…

Is that good luck or bad????? :-)

OK, Lily, it’s your “fault.” We think it’s ours because we decided to have the WSB-branded ice-scraper giveaway at last month’s Junction Car Show. Co-publisher told me that was sure to guarantee the warmest winter ever. Hey, you know the weather around here CAN turn on a dime …

It’s both our faults and we”ll take it and keep enjoying it!!! :-)

Sorry, comment time is over.
