FIRST REPORT, 4:16 PM: Just ended at West Seattle Stadium, Seattle Lutheran High School‘s first football game of 2012, a loss to Carson Graham Secondary from B.C. – CG 48, SLHS 21.

ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT: Details, ahead:

From WSB co-publisher Patrick Sand, who covered the game at West Seattle Stadium:

North Vancouver, BC’s Carson Graham players proved to be quicker to the ball as they put up a 48-21 win over Seattle Lutheran on Saturday afternoon.

Carson Graham’s ability to force the fumble and execute a steady running game put them out to an early lead. The Saints pulled close in the second quarter with two quick scores. The first score came when Grant Doerr reached up and grabbed a tipped pass. That capped an 80-yard drive, 71 of those yards coming from a run by Jake Lamb.

Not long after that the Saints’ Ben Sanders picked off a pass from Carson Graham’s Mo Mohseni, which led to Lutheran’s Grant Doerr scoring on a 22-yard reception. Late in the game, Sanders went 52 yards for Lutheran’s last touchdown.

Saints fans showed their support with high-fives after the game:

Next week Lutheran plays central Washington’s Lake Roosevelt.

No mention of Seattle Lutherans first time QB? Bad reporting. The kid started for the first time as a QB and threw for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns but no mention of him or even giving him credit?

Sorry, comment time is over.
