More West Seattle food news: Proletariat Pizza trying delivery

Though they are in White Center, their experimental delivery zone includes part of West Seattle, so here’s what Proletariat Pizza just announced (via e-mail to us, as well as a note on Facebook):

We’re taking a leap of faith and will be trying out delivery tonight. Monday through Wednesday only, rough boundaries are 35th to the west, 4th to the east, Trenton Thistle to the north and 112th to the south (Arbor Heights, just call first, we’ll likely make an exception if you’re just outside the boundaries.) $2 delivery fee. Whole pizzas only (no halves), drinks, salad and dessert, but sadly, no beer and wine delivery. And all this is subject to change as we get it all figured out, which will likely take some time.

The FB version from Proletariat co-proprietor Stefanie mentioned a slightly-further-north border (Thistle), so we have a followup question back out to clarify.

2:55 PM UPDATE: Thistle it is.

Oh man, if you could just deliver beer with pizza. Such a little luxury, but what an amazing thought.

Come on, Raymond Street to the North!! We tip REAL good. Yum.

  • Stina February 27, 2012 (8:15 pm)

    This could get expensive!
Also, would the driver be willing to swing by Full Tilt and get me a pint on the way? Because that would rock!

Excellent news! I don’t know how many times I would have preferred to get their pizza, but got lazy instead…and called Olympic or Amante because they deliver.

Very happy! So glad we are in the zone! I can’t tell you how annoyed I was with Paggliacci (sp??) when we lived 2 blocks out of their delivery area years ago and they refused to deliver to us. That was the last time I ever went there!

Hmmmmm… maybe tonight should be a pizza night. Assuming 2 blocks over the boundary iis ok. =)

  • Stephanie February 28, 2012 (8:51 am)

How happy am I that I live on 35th and Thistle?

It’s a work in progress, everyone! Please keep up on telling us where you all are, and we’ll see what we can do as we get things all figured out. And, if you’re outside the boundaries, but not too far, feel free to call and we’ll see if we’re able to make an exception if we’re not too slammed in these early days of delivery. Ordering more than one pizza wouldn’t hurt either… :)
Thanks for the support everyone! You all are the best!

I’m with you, MB – Stretch a little further to Myrtle!

Love the Full Tilt ice cream idea.

  • datamuse February 28, 2012 (9:21 pm)

We’re at Kenyon and 8th, so if you stretch that northern boundary a leeeetle more…though perhaps it’s good that you’re not delivering this far north yet, as it means we’ll keep working off that yummy pizza by biking there and back! ;)

Hey, if ya want Full tilt ice cream delivered just call Redstar.(www.redstarpizza.com) Only 4.99 a pint there, Buy 3 and get it delivered!!!

Those guys have been doing deliveries since day one. Dont pay your money out so that protoilet pizza can “learn” or “figure out” how to deliver to you.
Go with the pro’s, we have been ordering from them since 2010 and we have never been disappointed!

Do what ya want, Just don’t get used as delivery practice fodder by these jokers.

Sorry, comment time is over.
