2 years in a row westwood village a total bust. Half hour into event most stores out of candy w signs on doors not to bother them. I work in the admiral distict we take this event seriously and prepare for the mass of kids, decorating, buying enough candy, having cash on hand to buy more if we run out and staffing in costume and we welcome every human and fur participant!

Menchie’s is on the list for Admiral. Are they open for business yet? I will come in costume if there is FroYo treats to be had.

Their last estimate was early November. That doesn’t mean they won’t have somebody outside, though! We’ll check with our Admiral contacts (if they don’t see this first) – TR

Trick or Treating at Westwood Village is from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. (not 4pm)

It should be a fun evening!

Our store will have decorations and a special treat…

Sorry, no one had sent us an announcement and I couldn’t find info online anywhere, so co-publisher went over to look for posters this afternoon and found one. I just reconsulted the cameraphone pic he sent and indeed, 5-7, fixing … TR

I saw one of the Westwood flyers that said it was from 5-7pm, not 4-7pm, so you may want to double check that. And I also have been very disappointed with the participation, or rather lack of it, from the merchants down there. We’ve gone the last 3 years and it has only gotten worse. This year I’m not even going to waste my time – I’m going to give Admiral a try instead.

Give Westwood Village another try:) The complex has a new owner and they are providing all of the stores with lots of candy.

    Or try White Center!

The Museum of Flight’s annual “Museum of Fright” family Halloween event is Friday, Oct. 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. Bring the kids to the Museum as the whole family will be scared silly with safe and fun activities that will leave you in stitches! Admission is FREE!

Westwood Village Trick or Treating will be great this Halloween. Yes, it’s 5 to 7 pm, and there will be plenty of candy for the entire event. You don’t need to go anywhere else.

Westwood is responding to the feedback we received and hope that you will join us for a fun evening! See you at 5 on Monday!!

I took my son trick or treating for the first time last year. We went to westwood, and came home with a bag full of dum dum suckers. Most of the stores were out of candy and the ones that had it were so mobbed my son got knocked down TWICE! Not what I hoped for on his first experience. Has anyone tried white center before? Could you tell me how it was?

Westwood Village should skip advertising, the participation is that disappointing. Even Target only gave out stickers ripped from a roll. Target! On Halloween! Who do they think shops there if not their neighbors and the parents of the costumed kids?

Well at least they are trying to improve it this year! Gotta give them credit for hearing the feedback and trying to fix it. Sounds like management may have changed.

I want spooky votice candles from Pier One. Is that too much to ask. ;)

Sorry, comment time is over.
