For a second year in a row the Bridge Park retirement community (3204 SW Morgan St.) and West Seattle Nursery bring you a free gardening demonstration with Ed Hume on April 23 at 2 pm at Bridge Park.

Hume will be demonstrating “Thinking Outside of the Pot” techniques for planting summer flower annuals in some unusual containers such as a Seattle Mariners lunchbox, teapots, and old lampshades, which will be given away as door prizes. Hume’s autographed book will also be available for purchase.

There is no cost to attend but space is limited so RSVPs are required. To RSVP, or to learn more, please call Bridge Park at 206-938-6394.

Bridge Park, located at 3204 SW Morgan St. in Seattle, is one of Holiday Retirement’s more than 300 Independent Retirement Living communities throughout the United States and Canada. For more information, call 206-938-6394 or visit their website.
