Seattle Lutheran High School‘s boys-varsity basketball team used its deep bench to wear down Tacoma Baptist in West Seattle on Saturday night, cruising to a 55-27 win. Details ahead:

Lutheran coach Jack Menashe rotated out three to four players at a time throughout the night, which took a toll on the Crusaders’ nine-man team. As seen here, the Saints used a very physical game that had Baptist scrambling for the ball throughout the second half:

About one-third of the Crusaders’ total came in the first quarter and another third was composed of free throws. The Saints had 10 players who put up points. They were led by Fred Lisko with 14 points.

Earlier in the night, the Tacoma Baptist girls-varsity team beat Seattle Lutheran 56-29. Baptist used a very steady no-frills defense, which moved the Saints to the outside and kept them from scoring.
