Seattle Parks is presenting “Big Day of Play” a week from tomorrow at Magnuson Park. Before you say “North end? Too far!” check this out – Parks points out today that they’re offering free shuttles from community centers including Southwest CC and Delridge CC in West Seattle. The schedule for the “Big Day of Play” events 9:30 am-5 pm Aug. 28 (including stage performances starting with the popular band Recess Monkey) is here; the schedule of free shuttle buses is here. There’s also a 3-on-3 basketball tournament (info here) and a fun run too.
