West Seattle Outdoor Movies: The fun before the films

The robot’s back, courtesy of the artful folks at Riverbed Design, for the new season of West Seattle Outdoor Movies in The Junction (co-sponsored by WSB), starting July 17th. You helped choose the movies, and we unveiled the slate here last month, but now the full details are out, including the pre-show plans, and more – read on!

West Seattle Outdoor Movies is a free summer outdoor movie series presented by the West Seattle Junction Association and West Seattle merchant sponsors.

Everyone is invited to bring a blanket or chair, family, friends and neighbors and enjoy outdoor screenings under the stars of great family friendly movies. Concession will be provided by West Seattle Christian and Coffee to a Tea with Sugar. There will be fun pre-show events from 1980’s trivia to live music. Raffles for local merchant gift certificates too! All proceeds go to local West Seattle charities.

WHEN:
Saturday evenings at dusk, July 17, July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21, 2010.
Gates open at 7:00 pm with pre-show fun starting at 8:30 pm.

WHERE:
4400 California Ave SW, West Seattle, in the courtyard between Dr. Wolff & Hotwire Online Coffeehouse
(In the event of rain, the movie will be moved indoors to 4400 42nd Ave SW WSCC activity center)

    Hi, Just a note that the designer of the Robot Poster is Riverbed design, not Riverbend graphics. riverbeddesign.com. He does all of the posters for the WS Junction events.
