Heard this morning from Brenda Peterson of West Seattle-based Seal Sitters: “We’ve had pups almost every day and lost 3 of them, sadly. But we’ve also helped launch a whole new generation of seal pups.” As the Seal Sitters’ site points out, seal pups only have a 50% chance of survival.
