Ticket sales start for Lesbian and Gay Film Fest at The Admiral

As noted here two weeks ago, the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival is returning to West Seattle’s Admiral Theater again this year. The festival runs October 16-25; according to its website, the Admiral screenings are on the final two days, with five films on Saturday 10/24 and two on Sunday 11/25 – here’s the schedule. Tickets went on sale today; here’s info on how to buy them. ADDED 1:55 PM: Another festival note, from West Seattle’s State Sen. Joe McDermott, via Facebook: “West Seattle filmmaker Michael Culpepper‘s short After All That shows on Saturday, October 17, at 2 pm at the Egyptian Theater!” (Here’s that link.)

ZMD: ZOMBIES OF MASS DESTRUCTION is also a production from local filmmakers; it’s playing at The Admiral as part of the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 9:30 pm. We may see some Thrillerdancing zombies before the screening!

Also, don’t miss the West Coast premiere of STUCK! starring Karen Black, Susan Traylor, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go’s, and Mink Stole (Mink will be appearing in person on Oct. 17 at the Egyptian for a screening of John Waters’ cult classic, DESPERATE LIVING). Watch the trailer for STUCK! here .
