On the blog about White Center: Kids, food, beer, annexation …

wcicon.jpgThanks to everyone who has checked out White Center Now, the blog about White Center, since its launch was announced here earlier this week. The site’s already abuzz with robust discussions about topics including potential annexation — check out the comments (28 so far). Recent posts also include a teen-authored article about White Center students becoming park stewards (read it here), a White Center Now review of Big Al‘s beer, and In Search of the Great Burrito. Lots more to come (including original coverage of a couple events happening later today).

The blog is great!!! Thank you to Tracy, Ricardo and the Fulltilt duo. I love that now I have TWO community blogs to obsessively check!

Thank you! Just to spare your clicking hand a little, we don’t expect WCN to be updated anywhere near as often as WSB, at least for starters, but so far we’re averaging at least a few posts per day, thanks to the fact this is truly a team effort, of which we’re just a small part.

Can we subscribe for update like WSB on the White Center Blog?

  • WSB August 15, 2008 (9:41 pm)

Hi – I believe there’s a spot where we could subscribe you to have posts e-mailed to you, if that’s what you mean – otherwise, the RSS link is not in a hugely convenient area right now (will fix that) – you can subscribe to the RSS feed from one of the links under the Team Members area on the left sidebar. Just make sure you go to whitecenternow.com. Thanks!

WSB and WCN. This is what cooperation is all about. Our communities are better informed than ever before. When issues arise and action is needed these twin blogs are the places to keep informed, offer opinions and vent a bit as well. Well done Tracy and Ricardo.

Sorry, comment time is over.
