West Seattle Weather Watch: Wind advisory tomorrow

A sudden gust rocked the house and sent us to the National Weather Service forecast updates – where we found a wind advisory in effect for the metro area tomorrow, 4 am-4 pm, south wind with gusts possible up to 45 mph.

I love the strong winds here. The entire neighborhood rings with wind chimes and all the trees rustle and groan. Every now and then I’ll hear the sound of a trash can or trash can lid careening and caroming down some distant street.

And in the distance a wolf howled…
