Oh great. I’ve been emailing the Seattle DOT about this intersection to complain about their removal of the left turn yield from n/s bound 35th onto Thistle. They said this intersection had a high potential for accidents which is why the left turn arrow was installed. I’m still disputing since the left turn pockets on 35th aren’t long enough to accommodate enough cars, therefore making it less safe for the 3rd or 4th car waiting through a turn cycle to turn left to Thistle. I wonder if that was part of the problem with this accident?!
