Hi-Yu festivities aren’t over yet. The community brunch just wrapped up; the coronation of the next Miss West Seattle Hi-Yu is tomorrow night. But this is the last of our parade reports — a few loose ends, including the list of award winners, a few more pix, and links to other parade-photo galleries out there in WSB-land, after the jump:

First, the list of winners:

Junior drill teams: Electronetts (shown below in their Mardi Gras-style hot pink and gold), Baby Dolls, Seattle City Light

Senior drill teams: North Queens (below), Dangerettes, Sweet Mahogany

Performing acts: Seafair Pirates (shown below as their cannon smoke cleared), Langston Hughes (promoting “Cinderella”), Seattle Lutheran

Clowns/Comics: Seafair Clowns (shown below on sidelines sticker patrol – they even smacked us), Lake City Vigilantes, Keystone Kops

Cars: 1942 LaFrance Fire Engine, Last Resort Fire Department, WS Senior Center

Community: Hope Lutheran Gospel Outreach, Red Hats, Friend to Friend

Commercial: Pike Place Market pig, JP Patches, WS Herald

Second installment (The Kids)
Third installment (The Enforcers)
Fourth installment (The Wheels)
Fifth installment (The People)
Also, two other galleries are online (that we know of): WSB reader Jason got some great shots, as did Rhonda from Beach Drive Blog, and Creighton, who has awesome closeups. (Did you post some? Tell us about it.)

Meantime, we won’t be going through parade withdrawal just yet; next Saturday night is the biggie, the Seafair Torchlight Parade through downtown, where we will cheer wildly for the West Seattle float and many other faves. (More on that parade @ the Seafair site.)
