Hot cup o’ turnover

We had seen the “for sale” signs at the “Koze” store/house next door but didn’t realize till an e-mail tip that Carosello Coffee (the location’s latest incarnation) on 35th is for sale too. Interesting caveat in the listing fine print forwarded by our tipster (or is this par for the course with business listings?) — “DO NOT DISCUSS SALE WITH EMPLOYEES!”

Sunrise Heights development dream: a nice breakfast joint or bar or at least a decent cup of coffee! Any takers?

Our own “Circa” would be AWESOME.

Interesting. I met the Koze/Carosello owners at an Open House last spring, where they were flipping another house. They sell the furniture they use to stage their flipped houses at Koze, but from what I have heard the market for fixers is getting rather small and intense. So maybe not so huge profit margins anymore.

Do not discuss sale with employees…yet there is HUGE for sale sign sitting in the window. SHHHhhh!!

The request to not speak to employees is to keep from putting the workers on the spot with questions they don’t have answers for. They are not the owners so don’t have the right/ability to speak for the owners’ intentions. They are there to do a job (that the busines owner is paying for) and not field questions from the curious.

A friend of mine bought the Italian leather furniture they had on sale there…

Sorry, comment time is over.
