  1. Spud is an Alki institution. When they are good they are very, very good. But when they are bad, it’s pretty bad. Don’t know what causes the fluctuations, but they do happen. Everyone I know in the community has commented on the fluctuations for years.

  2. Ick. The few times we’ve gone here we wonder why we went, but kept trying to give it another chance. Everything has the same flavor…oil. Soggy fries, heavily breaded (and soggy) fish. If you are craving fish and chips, go a few blocks west to Sunfish, it is so much better, though a bit more $$.
