The best fish and chips ever! Not greasy at all and perfectly cooked. The cole slaw is really good too.

If you want a fish and chip meal you can describe as”delicious”, Sunfish is the place to go. The flavors of their breaded seafood, fries, tarter sauce and coleslaw all complement each other and make a delicious meal. It’s not just some fish and fries thrown together. It tastes like someone cared that it should be good. I love their tarter sauce and when i’m grilling salmon at home, I go there and buy some.

This is my favorite place in Seattle for fish and chips. I particularly like their Sunfish Special. The owners do not compromise on quality. Be prepared to pay a bit more for quality.

Best seafood we have eaten in a long time. Wish they were in Portland! And the owners are fantastic! We did not know it was cash only and we were several dollars short. They said we could pay them later! Now where do you see that, specially in the city! Off to send them a check right now!

Thanks Larry…I have been dying for them to get back. I haven’t had decent fish and chips since they left for the holidays.
Yum, I’m going there tonight after happy hour at Cactus!! Cheers

I visit Sunfish most often in the winter after a brisk long walk on the beach with the dog. I enjoy their chowder or a piece of halibut. Fantastic on both counts.

During the summer, a special treat is the kabob as others have noted.

If quality matters to you, bring your cash some fine evening this summer and grab an outside table as you enjoy a beautiful Greek salad and fresh beautiful fish…cod, salmon or halibut.

The brothers are awesome and as generous and amiable as the days are long in the summer.

    Enjoy!

What happened to Sun Fish? Are they closed for good?

Hi – they’re not closed that we know of – someone asked us about their awning/signage work a few weeks ago – we went to check and they told us that’s all it is, awning/signage work.

Well Sunfish is about to close for the holiday Season so I think they are still open tonight..don’t miss out because you will have to wait until January to enjoy this fantastic food again. They deserve a well earned rest but I need my fish fix just once before they go. There is no one anywhere in Seattle that has fish, scallops, calamari, oysters, grilled seafood that even compares with Sunfish. (they chowder is fabulous too btw)
