Check out their bar in the back where Boggie makes the most amazing watermelon shots I have ever had.

Decent Indian food. It convinced my husband when he thought he didn’t like Indian food.

Fantastic Indian food. We’ve been going there since shortly after they opened. Always tasty, and portion sizes are always enough to take leftovers home.

We went to the lunch buffet and were blown away by the quality of food and selection of indian food you received for less than ten dollars per person. Also really quick and polite service for drinks and what have you. Definately going back, especially since the menu says they change out what items are put on the buffet which is offered daily. Woot!

One of the leading Indian restaurants in this city. I recommend the lamb korma or some chicken daal- perfection. Order the chai tea, it’s traditional and delicious. Don’t forget to snag some of the seeds and mints from the silver box at the front desk on your way out, they will freshen your breath and it gives a nice finish to a flavorful meal.

If you brave the other side of Maharaja, Bogie and the other bartenders hold court in one of West Seattle’s best-kept secrets. Ask the bartenders to make you their favorite drink and imbibe whatever lands in front of you without question- you won’t be disappointed.

The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Saag Panner are the two staples on the menu. Not only is their food delicious but they will deliver it to your W. Seattle home! We use them at least two to three times a month when we don’t feel like cooking dinner. Never had a bad meal in the 10+ yrs I’ve been eating there.

Went last week. I think they have a new cook or something. Our favorite dishes were different and not for the better. Very disappointed, it used to be very good.Even the chai was awful.
I will try the one in the Admiral district, I hear it is good.

My wife and I used to go there all the time. The food was always very good, but lately, however, we have given up on it because the last two times we were there, the waiters got our orders wrong and didn’t understand English well enough to get things right. It’s too bad, because it used to be our favorite West Seattle restaurant. They need to hire some people who can understand English better.

Ugh! What happened? We loved getting delivery from this restaurant for years but our last two meals have been increasingly disappointing. These leftovers are headed for the trash and we won’t be ordering from them again.

I have to agree with some of the recent posts. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants in west Seattle. The past few times we’ve been there the service was terrible. They forgot our food the last time and the food was mediocre. We drive to the u district now for Indian. I am posting in hopes the negative will help them get back to the positive.

Does anyone remember the name of the original owner?  Wasn’t it a woman named Kelly?
