West Seattle Lost/Found Pets
Lost or found a pet? E-MAIL INFO/PHOTO TO: firstname.lastname@example.org – plain text with contact #, one JPG photo, no Word/PDF/etc. docs. PLEASE let us know when the situation is resolved, so we can remove the listing. Thanks!
RULES: Please only report “found” pets that are in your custody – if you see a “possible lost pet running around,” check to see if it is reported as lost. If it is, PLEASE contact the owner directly with your sighting – they might not see a comment soon enough. If the pet you found needs medical attention, please get that attention before asking us to post – the pet’s health/welfare matters most. Please do NOT submit a comment with an opinion of the pet, its owner, its circumstances, its breed OR a comment promoting someone who charges $ to search for pets – those will NOT be approved for publication.

My Tabby/Siamese mix cat, Arianna, is missing. She never goes far as she is more of a waddler than a runner. She is 13.5 lbs, cream, tan, grey with a black/gray tipped striped raccoon tail. Big blue eyes, timid & shy. Lost on 98th Ave SW between 37th & 39th Ave Monday 2/17/14 around 11:30 am. Please call if you see her 206-708-5082-Karen.
Lost adult male cat on February 13, 2013 near the 7100 block of 35th Avenue SW (the Myrtle Street Reservoir). He’s black with white “tuxedo” trimmings and has a black “stubby” tail. He is recovering from visible scratches on both sides of his face (that area was shaved by the vet). . Any recent sightings, contact me at Sue’s Westside Electric – (206) 384-7304 – SuesClues@comcast.net. Thank you for caring.

(info removed – reunited with owners)
I was out walking our dog at approximately 3:30 pm today and found a stray female dog with no collar running around the street. She followed us home to 18th and Thistle. Since we couldn’t keep the dog and couldn’t contact the owner since the dog had no collar, we brought it to the Seattle Animal Shelter on 15th Ave W. Apparently she is microchipped, but is not registered with the shelter. She’s very sweet and appears trained. Hope the shelter can track down the owner.
(info removed – dog returned home this morning)
My name is Marie Guppy. I live in the highland park neighborhood, near 18th and trenton. My dog got out of my yard this afternoon at 7:15 thursday night 1/30. His name is Grover. He is mostly black with white and tan markings and weighs 75 pounds. He is tall and wearing a handmade brown leather collar. He has no tags but is micro chipped. The best way to contact me is on my cell 206-200-0083.
Found a cat on the SE corner of 31st and Barton this morning–maybe hit by a car? No collar, and no chip according to Lien. Mostly black with white spot on head. Lien said they’d call Animal Control for it to be picked up. Feel so sorry for cat and owner….
