West Seattle Lost/Found Pets
Lost or found a pet? E-MAIL INFO/PHOTO TO: email@example.com – plain text with contact #, one JPG photo, no Word/PDF/etc. docs. PLEASE let us know when the situation is resolved, so we can remove the listing. Thanks!
RULES: Please only report “found” pets that are in your custody – if you see a “possible lost pet running around,” check to see if it is reported as lost. If it is, PLEASE contact the owner directly with your sighting – they might not see a comment soon enough. If the pet you found needs medical attention, please get that attention before asking us to post – the pet’s health/welfare matters most. Please do NOT submit a comment with an opinion of the pet, its owner, its circumstances, its breed OR a comment promoting someone who charges $ to search for pets – those will NOT be approved for publication.

Missing since Friday, April 4, 2014 in the Admiral Area of West Seattle near 47th Ave SW and Admiral Way. She is about 2 years old and bigger than this picture shows, but she is still a fairly small cat, under 10 pounds. If you have seen her, please call Karen at 206-937-3135 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I am writing about a cat that pretty much found us yesterday. My kids went out on our deck to read in the sun. A very friendly kitty was on our deck. The cat proceeded to purr and nuzzle and lay on my son as he read. It looks like kitty once had a collar by the mark around neck. I am going in today to our vet to check for a microchip. When 9 pm came and cat made no intent of wanting to leave we did not want to leave it out due to high prevalence of coyotes in our neighborhood. We made cat a make shift bedroom in our garage due to fact our kitty was none too pleased to meet this other cat and due to the fact this cat did sneeze quite a bit. don’t want kitty colds passed around. Cat drank and ate but clearly was not starving so am guessing it only recently went missing. Is litter box trained as it used the one i put in there for it. Attached is a pic of the cat from this morning when it joined me on the couch. My name is Monica and I can be reached at email above or by cell phone 206 335 7122
For the past few days there has been a youngster cat (small and playful to be a kitten but still seems to be growing) that just appeared out of no where. She’s very friendly and playful to anyone. She doesn’t mind being picked up and is very curious.
She has been wandering around 59th Ave SW, across from the tennis courts at Whale Tail park.

Hi, Benny the cat is a 9 year old male cat (possibly with a red collar and tag) in the area of 35th and Hinds. He has been eating the neighbors’ cat food and needs to come home! He is black with white paws, chest and chin. His paws have thumbs. And most notably he has a KINK TAIL.
If you SEE him, please call 206.280.9877 Erin
THANK YOU!!!! I NEED HIM BACK
Approximately four days ago a cat came to my house and no one in my neighborhood recognizes or knows him. This is a description: Found a Cat: A very friendly, well nourished cat has been coming to my house for approximately four days. This cat is a neutered male, dark orange with some stripes on the sides, has a small notch on the right ear, golden eyes, and he has a thin blue collar with a small bell attached. Someone is missing this wonderful cat and hopefully he will be reunited with his family soon. Location is near the corner of Fauntleroy Way SW and Frontenac St.

Found, in the 35th and Morgan area. Black long-haired cat, no chip (we took
to the vet to check), no tags. Flea collar. Please call 646-251-4234.
Found at 5:45 pm today near Fauntleroy and Findlay. At VCA vet hospital on California now.
Publishing in case this brings closure to someone – from Will: Just wanted to let you know I found a black long-haired cat in front of Rite Aid on California that was hit and killed. I delivered his (?) body to the Five Corners VCA in Burien. He will be scanned for a chip and cremated. I assume it was a male cat, maybe 3-5 yes. Not sure if there is anything you can do to let the community know. Just wanna put it out there that some people did care.
Gary asked us to post this: “I saw a stranded dog at the Westcrest Dogpark about 15 minutes ago. Seemed to be wandering around, tired, and no one was claiming it. It was a black lab mix, maybe 50 lbs, with a purple&black plastic click-on collar with no tags.”
(back home; info removed – Angus’s person was found via the listing here – thank you as always to everyone who helps get lost pets home!)
(Got locked in a garage! home now, info removed)

Not well equipped for extended outside time (a bit overweight with large belly flap). Missing from 28th Ave SW and SW 102nd Ave area. May be hunkered down in a shed or garage. No tags, but microchipped. Call Lisa at (206) 914-8246 anytime.
