West Seattle Lost/Found Pets
Lost or found a pet? E-MAIL INFO/PHOTO TO: email@example.com – plain text with contact #, one JPG photo, no Word/PDF/etc. docs. PLEASE let us know when the situation is resolved, so we can remove the listing. Thanks!
RULES: Please only report “found” pets that are in your custody – if you see a “possible lost pet running around,” check to see if it is reported as lost. If it is, PLEASE contact the owner directly with your sighting – they might not see a comment soon enough. If the pet you found needs medical attention, please get that attention before asking us to post – the pet’s health/welfare matters most. Please do NOT submit a comment with an opinion of the pet, its owner, its circumstances, its breed OR a comment promoting someone who charges $ to search for pets – those will NOT be approved for publication.

Have you seen Quinn? Indoor outdoor Black cat with orange spots last seen around October 2 in the Gatewood area. Call or text 206-853-2495
Is this your cat? This cat has been meowing at my door for food the last few days. The cat has been in my yard morning and night. He’s a little dirty, matted hair, seemed to be out in the rain for a little while, has some healing scabs. I’m going to take care of him and let him inside. Please call if this is your cat. Are you missing Lucifer? If so, please call (206) 715-2994. He is a very friendly black cat, with a bobbed tail, and has been hanging out on 39th between Othello and Webster. Has a tag with his name and a phone number, which does not work.
Location: West Seattle Roxbury Street close to Westwood Village. Contact #: 206-227-7295 or 206-227-8664
Last seen on October 11 at 4:30 pm; last seen on owner’s driveway.
My brother found this (non-neutered) dog this afternoon around Delridge & Puget. We took him to the West Seattle Animal Clinic and they called the Seattle Animal Shelter.
This elderly beagle was brought in to Lien Animal Clinic this morning. He was found in someone’s fenced yard early this morning near Austin and 39th. Has been reported to Seattle Animal Control, they will be picking him up soon unless his owners contact us first. 206.932.1133. Thanks!
Sad story e-mailed by Meridith. But it needs to be told, in case someone is looking for one or both of the dogs involved, which is why we’re publishing it here on the Pets page:
We were coming back from Home Depot on Morgan and saw two cars pulled over and a loose German shepherd. We pulled over and noticed a black pug?,not sure on breed, that was lying in the road. I got out and spoke to the other two drivers. The first driver in line told me he witnessed the car in front of him hit the dog and drive off. He didn’t get the plate. The dog was dead, it was horrible. I cried, there was blood on the street. I called 911 and they called animal control. One of the drivers picked the dog up and put him on the side of the road. We think the German shepherd was its “sibling” and trying to help. It was beyond sad and whomever drove off should be ashamed of themselves. I hope there was a camera there to catch them.

(“just out for a stroll,” apparently)
We found a very friendly all black cat in our neighborhood. Seems to want company more than food. Meows a lot. No collar. I could not bring it inside as I have a sick cat. Are you missing a kitty or have one that likes to wander in the Delridge/Puget Ridge area? 17th & Webster -Erin firstname.lastname@example.org
