We found this cat last night.my neighbor took her to the vet this morning, no chip, spayed two weeks ago, she is a kitten. They recommended taking her back to where we found her and letting her go which is what she did. She will probably be back at your house tonight if you leave food out. We can’t take her in due to our lease. Maybe contact Teri Ensley @furry faces foundation. She may have some good advice. She is my friend on Facebook, I’ll also contact her there to alert her about this kitten.

Thanks Michele. If your neighbor is Pam, I spoke with her this morning and I understand that she has taken the cat to her mom’s house in Admiral to keep in their garage for the timebeing. Since she was just spayed, I’m really hoping that her owner is still searching for her and they will see this post. I was thinking of making some flyers to put up around the Lincoln Park area in case they live nearby. I’ll call Pam tonight to let her know if I get any more leads from the post here. Thanks for getting in touch with Furry Faces Foundation, definitely let me know what your friend says!

Could also try FAF to see if they have capacity to help. I know Marianne keeps an eye on these pages so she may contact you. fafseattle.org or 206-719-4864

It looks like the owner has been located… we’re just waiting to coordinate pick up of the kitty from the garage where she’s hanging out. So cross your fingers but I think this one’s got a happy ending. : )

Thank you for Juliette and Pam for helping get kitty back to her owner. Owner will pick up a collar and tag for kitty tomorrow. Kitty was rescued in Kent as a stray and seems to like to explore the outside even though it is much, much safer inside.

    Just to let you know
the little kitty spent the day
playing with my mom’s other two cats
she got into the toy box and brought out
all sorts of toys – enjoyed good food and water
apparently sat on every surface in the house-very curious
    and had a great time
am told that after playing they all 3 ended
    up fast asleep
she was in the house the whole time
received an email that she is missed by the other two cats
    they keep looking for her!

Thank you to everyone that help reunite me with my little girl cat. I found her two weeks ago outside the jail in Kent. How she got into a secured area is a mystery but she had been there for days and was being fed by the correctional officers. Took her to the vet and had her spayed and treated for mites and fleas. Also had multiple tests. $897.00!!! She seems to still have a wild spirit and it has been difficult to track her outside. Haven’t had her chipped yet, did get a collar with my phone and address on it. I was just sick, thought I had lost her for sure. My faith in humanity is restored thanks to all the kind people who cared enough to look after a lost little cat. Bless you.
