From Amy: “If it were my cat I would want to know. There was a cat run over on Delridge just north of Holly. I saw it while walking this evening, and am not sure when it happened. It was hit once more while I tried to figure out a safe way to find out if it was dead.
Animal control is closed, so I am not sure of a way to report it to have the body removed.
The cat is black with white paws.
I’m really sorry for the owner.”
could you give a better description of the kitty ? is its black and white? female or male? is it nutered or spayed?
Taylor-The finder said the cat is “black with white paws.” It is a bit much to ask the finder of a cat that has been run over by two cars to check to see if it is neutered, male, or female. There is no way to tell if it is spayed. Hopefully Seattle Animal Control will pick it up and list some of that information on their lost pet hotline at (206) 386-PETS. Thank you to Amy for posting the cat on the WSB.
Marianne I agree with you, it’s bad enough to see a “dead” animal let alone then see it get hit again to then get an up close look at it. :(
And yes Amy thank you letting WSB know
if this is the same animal I saw, it was a tuxedo longhair, black body with white markings, lying on the street at 22nd Ave SW & SW Delridge :(
