Pinky the cat is missing: Seen him? – October 24, 2012 5:44 pm

Pinky the cat is missing! – Please help! Pinky is a 10 year old brown/gray tabby cat. Neutered male. Has a very distinctive “cloudy” left eye caused by ongoing cataract issues. Pinky does not have a collar because he gets rid of them within 10 minutes but he is micro-chipped. Last seen enjoying the front porch of his Arbor Heights home near 40th and 102nd on 10/23/12. Because his eyesight is impaired, he usually does not venture much past the perimeter of the house…so we are very worried. He is much loved, rules the household, hates the rain and it is unheard of for him to miss a meal or an afternoon nap in his cat bed window. Again, his most distinctive feature is his left eye. our cat, Raisin, also went missing the same day and we also live in Arbor Heights. She has similar markings. I’m going to post about her shortly. Sorry and hope your cat returns!

    Thank you Teah.

We’re just heartsick about Pinky and I’m so sorry to hear that Raisin is missing.

There’s another post here from an Arbor Heights woman who has lost 2 cats within 2 weeks. Not sure what’s going on in AH but I’m going to walk the neighborhood looking for Pinky this weekend and I’ll look for Raisin too. I hope they both (all) make it home soon!

So sorry to hear about this. I live nearby in Arbor Heights, 37th and 98th, and my cat Lilly went missing in July. I’ll keep an eye out for both Pinky and Raisin.

Good luck and hope all your cats make it back. The coyotes are thick around Arbor Heights and Fauntleroy Park, and I had one kill a cat of mine a few years back. I keep hearing of neighbors (five as of now) who have found bits left by the coyotes of their cats…so sad.
