West Seattle, Washington
28 Thursday
My husband and I were driving northbound on 35th Ave SW (at 99th) right before 7am and found a black cat (no collar, might have been pregnant) that had been hit by a car. By the time we got to the cat, it had passed. We removed the cat from the road, and laid it on the greenbelt. There was no collar, and Seattle Animal Shelter was not yet open, so sadly, we left it there on the greenbelt. We will be calling the shelter to come and check for a microchip when it opens at 9:15.
This is so sad…way too many cats being found like this, my sadness and condolences to the family who owns all of these kitties who now are gone.
Keep your kitties inside, way too many things outside that’ll harm them.
