Lost gray cat – July 3, 2015 3:01 pm

Lost medium-to-long-hair gray male cat named Hammie (Hampton). Hammie has some white markings on face and neck. Got out sometime between 11:00 pm on July 2nd and 6:00 am July 3rd. His home is on 29th and Henderson. He is an indoor cat so really does not have the skills to be outside. Please call 206.920-6171 or 702-232-1790 if found before the evening of July 4th (house sitters number) or after July 4 call owners at 714-318-3674.

Is he microchipped or was he wearing a collar?

Make sure you go in person and fill out the forms, and look in person.
Also, inform wherever you adopted him from as they can get the word out further.
    Some advice:
Put his dirty litter outside, the smell will travel and help guide him if he needs it. Also, put an article of your clothing out. (This may not help as you were not “connected” yet, but maybe the blankets he traveled home in the cage?)
With the coyotes and other critters, food is not recommended. Does your cat have a way to get inside if he does come back? If not, make sure there is a safe place to hang out.
Bug your neighbors, knock on doors and ask to personally check sheds, garages, out buildings, etc. (it is your cat, you care much more than your neighbors and they may say they will look around but…) a scared cat can get into some very tiny spaces.
There are also some great tips here…

Blessed be, may your kitty return home safely and quickly!
