These girls are still missing! The storm may flush them out of hiding ,so please keep an eye out. Check your garages and basements. And please contact me if you see them!

Hi there. A few years ago I lost one of my kitties and I found her three days later, but it took some major diligence. I thought I’d share some tips so that you can find your kitties:
–first off, cats tend to go within a small radius of their home, 3-4 houses in each direction. Keep that in mind when searching.
–they likely won’t come when called, as they are great hiders and most likely scared. My cat ended up across the street, 2 houses down in a crawl space, but she did not come when the neighbor let me call down there to see if she was there. (3 days later, they heard a meow but did not see her–I had to physically go down into the crawl space and let her see my before she came to me.)
–you need to be the one to look under sheds, decks, crawl spaces, etc., because often neighbors don’t look very hard, and like I said, cats don’t come when called in these situations
–put up bright, big posters around the neighborhood with a color picture of your kitties. Little flyers are less likely to be spotted
–check local shelters and vets daily
    –check trees too
    — Don’t give up! Cats can go a long time without food or water, so they’ll be ok for awhile
–put flyers on neighbors doors. Lots of people knew my cat because she’s very social, so they often texted me saying when they last saw her, which actually helped me find her
–be persistent. All of these helped me find my cat (and meet a lot of my neighbors!)

Good luck! My experience with this shows that you can be successful in finding your pets. I know you will, too.

Louise is home! The thunder and lightening must have frightened her. She came right back in the window she went out of. Currently eating like a champion!
Nala is still out there, though. Please continue to keep an eye out for her.
    Thank you, WSB!
