Hi Lisa, as of now there have been no other sightings or updates. My neighbor and I just did another neighborhood search, but came up empty handed. I’ve posted flyers around the populated areas and will continue to search until I find him. Thank you for everyone’s efforts in bringing him home.

        Hi,

I’ve posted this response before for lost kitties and will let you know too. Mine disappeared for 3 days last year.  Looks very similar to your kitty.I quickly printed a bunch of flyers and posted them on all the telephone poles in the area. Also, went door to door asking neighbors to search their basements an sheds, etc.  Waited till dark when it was quiet out an called her.  They are usually not more than a block away.  A lady recognized her from a poster while walking and called me.  Leave her bed, a piece of your clothing and food outside.  I know its scary but keep the faith, someone will find her. She knows where her love and food are. Please post when you find her.

Hi, I got word from two people yesterday on NextDoor  that they had sightings of Meow around the West Seattle Health Club. My husband and I went around calling his name on the Yancy trail and in part of the neighborhood yesterday, but didn’t find anything. If anyone lives by the West Seattle Health Club and sees Meow, please call me at any hour. I’m going to go back and search either today or tomorrow and hang some more posters in that area. Thank you for all of the support, help and kind advice. I hope he’s still in that area.

Put out his dirty litter, the smell will help lead him home. Avoid food, it will attract other animals which may scare Meow away.

When you do search, call him as if you were in the house, with the loving voice you use when he gets treats or makes you happy – avoid fear in your voice. Call for him, listen, walk quietly ahead and call our again. Tell him it is okay, you are here now, play time is over it is time to come home, he is not in trouble you just want to see him. Once again, pay close attention for quiet meows – as an indoor cat he may be hiding in a tiny space. Look in, under and around bushes and out buildings.

Call…listen…move….repeat and then come back the same way.

Please let me know if assistance or advice is needed.
