Lost cat in Arbor Heights – December 24, 2014 10:00 pm

Cleo is a female orange and white cat and has white paws. She was lost 12/23/14 at 5:00am when she ran outside our house on 35th Ave SW between 102nd and 104th. She is an indoor cat because of the busy road and tends to hide. If Found please call 206-396-1116.

Our indoor cat got out once and we found him under our front porch and our porch you wouldn’t think anything could get under it so look close to home she may be closer than you think.

    Good luck!

Cleo is still missing. If you live on or near 35th Ave SW between 102nd and 104th, we would really appreciate your help! Please take a moment to look under your porch, bushes, or any garages or sheds that a cat could have squeezed into. Cleo is quite a sweet cat, but she gets scared outside, so chances are slim that she will come when called unless she’s getting hungry.

This may be a long shot, but we live on 46th between Raymond and Graham and our neighbors mentioned to us on Saturday that an orange and white cat has been wandering the neighborhood. On Sunday, I saw this cat on Raymond between 46th and 47th. My car spooked it and it jumped into a yard and disappeared. Just in case your cat wandered a long ways off!

NatDango — That would be a long way for Cleo to have roamed, but not impossible. Did the cat you saw look like the one in the picture? She is a medium-sized, short hair orange tabby with a white bib and white paws. She has a cute face but most likely is acting quite shy. If you are able, please give me a call at (206) 650-5455. We are going to do our best to get her home by new years eve, when I’m afraid she’ll get all scared again.

We had another call regarding a very similar orange and white Tabby in the general vicinity that NatDango mentioned. If you see this cat (which could be Cleo, or another cat that looks like her) please let us know. We are going to take a look around there today, and put up some posters. Thanks for keeping an eye out for her! Cleo has been missing a little over one week and we are hopeful that she will come out of hiding if that’s where she is SOON to find food.

While walking today we noticed an orange cat today at 39th & Graham. Didn’t get a close look so not sure if had white belly. Was a fairly big cat. Sorry I didn’t remember about Cleo or I would have pursued it further.

Besides the one that was just under our front porch a very long time ago had one other of my kit cats go missing and he was gone 6 months and one night I hear this faint meow at the door and IT WAS HIM so don’t give up and keep looking!

Thanks all. We are still looking for Cleo so any further tips will be followed up on and appreciated. I know cats have great survival skills so I am not going to give up hope for a long time, mrsMarty. But I am hoping she’s back sooner than six months. :)

FYI — Cleo is STILL MISSING. We plan to put up another bunch of posters today and tomorrow. If you see an Orange Cat with White paws/belly, please let us know! Do not assume that a cat is a “stray” or “abandoned.” It may be someone’s lost pet! (206) 396-1116.

I’m so sad you haven’t found Cleo yet…I know you probably have but did you check at the Animal Shelter , I mean go there yourself and look and there’s a place up in Burien, can’t remember the name of the place but they take in strays and keep them until someone comes looking or adopts the animal, it’s on like 151st and Ambaum.
    Hope you find her soon.

That place in Burien is called CARES. It is their city shelter and doesn’t even take cats. Imagine, a city funded shelter that won’t take stray cats!? If Cleo ended up at a shelter it would be Seattle Animal Shelter or Regional Animal Services of King Co. Her family has traps and are following up on leads.

Marianne are you sure they don’t take cats, I went there one day and I’m sure I saw cats in their cages?

My fingers are crossed that Cleo’s families leads find her, I’m sort of partial to orange tabby’s…have one of my own!
