UPDATED FROM ORIGINAL JULY LISTING
My cat- Bluberi is still missing since 7/21/2017. Four weeks have passed & he still hasn’t been found. Please keep your eyes open for this beautiful soul, my best friend, Bluberi! He was last seen in front of the house at 17Th Ave. SW. (nearby SW Cambridge St.). Please kindly contact me @ 206-234-2321 or 310-895-8787 for any information. Thank you so much.
I saw your posters at 17th Ave SW and SW Barton so am guessing that Blu went missing fairly close to that location? I am keeping my eyes open.
I was wondering if you have shared your missing Bluberi’s post to any of the lost & found facebook groups as he looks very familiar , & im trying to figure out if it was a missing post or a found post . Is it just the position hes in in the photo , or is he a munchkin cat ? his legs look short here & i think im remembering a found munchkin cat ,
Is he microchipped ? Theres important information about microchips everyone should know , hope its ok to share this here Its from the Community cat coalition , even if not .. the point im trying to make is even if your pet is microchipped , theres so many misunderstandings , even when you think your pet is registered , something can always go wrong , please always register / check lost & found pets with your local shelter. Your pet could be at the shelter & they may have found the chip but no registration info is available , even when you think all is well , & especially if your pet IS microchipped & missing , & this WERE the case , it could be listed at the shelters website as 1 with NO PICTURE , These sometimes are pending owner notification & they may be having trouble reaching you ! Also a pet becomes adoptable very quickly , between 3-5 days for unmicrochipped & (i dont remember if its 5 days or 10 for microchipped , for local shelter , depends on each shelters policy ) But if your pets missing over a couple of days , i would not only check the FOUND pets at shelter , but the adoptables also . Sorry so long winded , its heartbreaking to see so many found pets at shelters unclaimed & then see so many lost & missing , I will include the link to the post regarding Important microchip information published by the Community Cat Coalition , hope its ok
