West Seattle, Washington

My cat got out while I was on vacation. He got out on Sunday night and still isn’t home. I live on 12th Ave SW and Roxbury. He’s friendly and has a microchip. Deva (206) 234-4224
Saw a cat yesterday around 6pm run across the street on 28th SW and SW 116th Street right in front of Shorewood Elementary School that looked just like this cat. Could it be yours so far fem home? I’ll keep an eye out for it and try and catch if I do see it again.
I live in your area and would be willing to help search, I also have access to traps if needed.
Ensure you call the Seattle Animal Shelter lost/found line? 206-386-7387
Make sure you go in person and fill out the forms, and look in person.
Also, inform wherever you adopted him from as they can get the word out further.
Some advice:
Put his dirty litter outside, the smell will travel and help guide him if he needs it. Also, put an article of your clothing out.
With the coyotes and other critters, food is not recommended. Does your cat have a way to get inside if he does come back? If not, make sure there is a safe place to hang out.
Bug your neighbors, knock on doors and ask to personally check sheds, garages, out buildings, etc. (it is your cat, you care much more than your neighbors and they may say they will look around but…) a scared cat can get into some very tiny spaces.
There are also some great tips here…

Sending compassion, and good thoughts.
Blessed be, may your kitty return home safely and quickly!

Possible I saw this cat tonight, 48th and Edmunds, though that seems quite far from home. Will absolutely call if I see him again.
Hi, A cat that looks a lot like Jersey has been hanging out at my house. 5900 block of 41st SW north of Morgan Junction. That’s quite a way for a kitty to travel, but perhaps is yours. I’ll call you tomorrow.
