Gray cat missing in Gatewood – October 22, 2014 4:52 pm

Her home is on 37th Ave SW, between Morgan and Graham.

Three-year-old female, gray, short-hair tabby. About 7 lbs. Missing since 7pm on
OCT 21.

She is an indoor/outdoor cat. However, she always spends the evenings indoors.

She answers to Mala or Mama.

No collar or license tag but she is micro-chipped and documented at the West Seattle
VCA.

    Any sightings?
I am sorry Mama is missing.
Have you been calling the Seattle Animal Shelter lost/found line? 206-386-7387 – call daily.
Make sure you go in person and fill out the forms, and look in person.
Take lost flyers to local vets and pet stores, there are also multiple free sites you can use to post your lost pet.
Put his dirty litter outside, the smell will travel and help guide him if he needs it. Also, put an article of your clothing out.
With the coyotes and other critters, food is not recommended. Does your cat have a way to get inside if they do come back? Make sure there is a safe place to hang out.
There are also some great tips here…

I just returned from the Ballard Shelter on 15th. You should really go take a look. Many cats and some that have been there a couple weeks. Good luck to you and your search. I’ve been told cats turned into Vets offices in West Seattle are then transferred to this shelter.
