FOUND KITTEN: In The Junction – August 12, 2016 10:20 pm

We found this kitten in the alley on Edmunds between California and 42nd. She wandered from the nearby parking lot, down through the alley. The nearby neighbors that we ran into had noticed her before and figured she doesn’t have a home. We brought her in to feed her because she’s a sweet, skinny little thing and we didn’t want her to get run over. She’s gotta be under a year old. Bless you for seeing her and taking the time to pick her up and keep her safe poor little soul.

Have you taken her to a local vet to check for a microchip?

If you cannot keep her until an owner is found, please take her to a local vet and Seattle Animal Shelter will pick her up. If you decide you want to adopt her, you could do so after the stray hold is released and be her official owners.

We took her to West Seattle Animal Hospital today to check if she has a chip, and she does not. We’re able to temporarily care for her until the search for her owner concludes, and I have a great cat-dad of a co-worker who is very interested in adopting her if no owner is found :)

You and your sweetie are both very kind people. Thank you again for keeping her safe.

Thank you again, you are good people and I am sure she is thankful for you. She is obviously friendly and has been handled.

That is too bad, about the chip. Is she spayed?

Thank you again for your compassion and caring for her, also finding what sounds like a better forever home.

I can’t tell if she’s spayed, but we’re assuming she isn’t. My co-worker and I are in correspondence to try and get her in for a full exam, spay, etc. and I am so happy to see that she is using her little litter box like a champ.

    Hi.

Just wondering if you’ve found her a home yet…

If not, I’d be interested.  I love cats, and she seems like a sweetie.

Thanks for your kindness in caring for her.

    Heidi
