FOUND DOG: Boxer in Seaview – now at shelter – May 20, 2016 8:58 am

I found an older boxer dog in Seaview. I think it’s a female, the only tag appears to be the registration tag. I can’t get near her but I put her in my back yard for now.

2:30 PM UPDATE from finder: “I kept her as long as I could, but now she’s with Seattle Animal Shelter. They can be reached on 206-386-7387.”

    Just to add, I’m not in a good position to keep her here. She’s trying to get out of the backyard and I can’t bring her in the house. Any suggestions welcome.

    maybe just let her out if it’s safe to (not a lot of cars…etc…) she may just go home. ???

    Yeah I wondered about that too. I was able to get a look at her registration tag and the animal shelter is trying to contact her owner. Hopefully we’ll have a happy ending soon!

    Being near a busy street, I can’t in good conscience let her go. I can’t transport her, so Seattle Animal Shelter is coming to collect her. If you recognize this dog or can take her until her owner comes forward, please let me know ASAP!!!

    Too bad it’s so busy and dangerous now a days that pets can’t roam the neighborhoods like they did when I was a kid!
