Did anyone claim this pup?  Does the finder still have her/him?

I just heard this morning from Seattle Parks that no one has come forward and the dog has been “taken to a no-kill shelter for adoption.”

Such a sweet thing! Definitely willing to adopt :)

Why would someone just leave a dog like that?! Just urks me…pets are gifts to humans, they don’t ask to be brought into your home you chose that option so as a responsible person you take care of them!!!

Chris, if this is your dog, did you try calling the number in the story? I’m sure they would be able to tell you where to find Sammy.

THe park dept gave my dog to a radom person at the shelter

This is exactly why found pets need to be brought to their local city shelter. How else will owners know where to look! Hopefully the Parks Dept people will be able to direct Chris to the “no kill” shelter they brought the dog to.  They better not have given it to some random person in the parking lot at the shelter.
