West Seattle, Washington
24 Wednesday
Cat was found walking the street at midnight on July 22/23, looking very malnourished. We rescued, fed, and then delivered to West Seattle Animal Hospital for a basic exam as soon as they opened the next morning. No chip found by either of their scanners. Cat has subsequently been assigned case #A32258478 by Seattle Animal Shelter. Owner should go to the shelter or call them. If you cannot get in touch with the shelter, call (206) 799-6679 and we’ll try to help.
We found her on upper Alki, climbing out of the greenbelt (Massachusetts and Bonair). Very friendly and happy to see a human but she could hardly walk. We cared for her that night and then took her to the vet. We had to place her in a shelter because we have another cat, but we are keeping a very close eye on her to make sure she finds her humans. We are posting signs around west seattle as we speak.
Bless you and thank you for your kindness and caring for this little lost soul!
Happy to help! Fur faces are cooler than humans! :) We put up flyers around the area and are checking on her status at the shelter daily. Fingers crossed!
