Looks like a little senior Boston– Pugs don’t have ears like that— please update!! I have shared this on my FB too. I hope the little bunny is ok :'(

My vet just called and said they were able to stabilize him. He’s being transported to 5 corners for more emergency care. Still looking for the owner.

This sweet baby is not a pug, but most likely is a boston terrier/pug mix. I will crosspost on the Westcrest boards on facebook, poor little one…hope he is okay! Will also look on craigslist to see if anyone is looking for him…

  • cammie November 30, 2012 (12:37 am)

Looked on both the lost and found and the pets section of craigslist and found nothing…

Now that I look at him closer, he looks like a purebred Boston Terrier, although you don’t usually see them brindle all over like that.

Casey, contact me if you need help with him, if he gets out of the hospital before the owner is found, I can help foster. I am a dog walker and have a pack of geriatric pugs here at home. Whatever I can do to help.

Pug is what the finder wrote. I’ll change it to “dog.”

This little guy looks like a Pug-Boston mix! Have you contacted Seattle Pug Rescue- they are good about getting the word out to the pug community. Also I would be happy to foster him until his owners are found!

Update on dog: He is still alive, but since I surrendered him (ie, I’m not the one that’s paying for his bills) 5 Corners can not give me anymore information on the level of his current injuries. Since he hasn’t been claimed by an owner he will be transfered to the King County Animal Shelter. He will be picked up later this afternoon.

I was going to call the King Country Animal Shelter and see what treatment they will do. I don’t know what this means for him.

I can donate to vet bills, and like Cammie, I am willing to help in any way with this sweet senior. He looks a LOT like my little senior Boston girl. If any help is needed please don’t hesitate to contact me: roaddogwalks@gmail.com

The owner was found! They actually found a microchip after all. 5 Corners received a call a little while ago and the owner is on the way to pick him up. He’s going to need some further scans on his head to see what damage was done, but at least he is reunited and now has a fighting chance.

Thank you everyone! And just a shout out to VCA West Seattle and their amazing staff for administrating first aid and VCA 5 Corners Emergency Hospital for the overnight care.

Wonderful news!! Before the update was posted I had contacted my connection at Old Dog Haven to have them pull the little guy from the shelter so one of us could foster him, so glad the owners found him! Poor baby was probably so stressed and scared!
