Dog found in Gatewood/Upper Fauntleroy – REUNITED – October 31, 2012 3:37 pm

Found this dog today- just now. Chased it down for an hour. 40th and Thistle. Has green harness with shamrocks on it. Listens to commands. Please help me find its owner. Black and white.

*EDITOR’S NOTE – In case this is the long-lost Jessie (see further down the page), we have personally alerted both the finder and Jessie’s seekers to contact each other – will update when we hear*

*UPDATE: They’ve talked, and Jessie’s person is en route to get her! Phone # now removed from this listing as a result.

I just added a note to this listing that I have already contacted both the finder of this dog and the person who was seeking Jessie, to directly advise them to check it out. With the shamrock-bandana detail, I’m guessing it HAS to be, which would be great news – I know so many have been looking for her. Waiting to hear officially. – TR

Yay! So relieved! I’ve seen the LOST signs everywhere and have been worried for this little one. I love knowing there are people out there (especially in West Seattle) who would spend an hour trying to make sure this dog is safe – thank you!

Hallelujah & AMEN!!! I’ve got tears in my eyes and lump in my throat! I prayed this morning that Halloween would be the day that she would be found! At later date there should be a ‘Jessie Found’ party!! For all those that everyday helped her back including the Animal Communicator I hired to talk to her. She calmed her down and told her to not feel ‘hunted down’. (That is why she kept running). She was told her Mom was back and looking for her. Hoped it helped some, mostly all the great folks with big hearts in the WSeaComm!!!

P.S; Little girl probably wants a hot bath even before hot food!

I was telling my veterinarian friend about Jessie when I got the text from Hannah that Jessie had been captured. This is such a perfect ending to a heartbreaking story. I’m sure Jessie and her mom have a lot to catch up on. You folks in West Seattle R*O*C*K !!

Well, that certainly seems to be a “thank you for saving me” expression on Jessie’s sweet face!! So glad she felt safe enough to go with her “finder” so she could get home to her family :-)

    I have goosebumps :0)

Yeah for Jessie – was thinking of her so much during all of this crazy rain.
    Wonderful news.

Thanks WSB for all of the updates. You guys are awesome, and so is WS.

A great “Thank You” to everyone for their concern and support during the search. Jessie was exhausted last night and is still napping a lot today. She appears to be fine – her bones are somewhat more prominent, she has some abrasions on two footpads, and goes up stairs a bit stiffly – but otherwise all is well. I wish she could tell us her adventures.
