    Update:

First of all, thank you Tracy for posting so quickly. My daughter and I were heading home west on Roxbury at 26th. We saw the dog running into traffic and stopped to try and get him out of traffic. Before we could reach him, he ran right into the center of the road and a pickup attempted to stop – the dog ended up underneath the pickup. Long story short, it looks like he escaped injury. He is a bit shaky and tired, but resting in our daughter’s room. Thank you to Lien Animal Clinic for doing a once over and providing a dose of anti-inflammitory for any bumps and bruises. We will keep the dog overnight in hopes of finding his home. please call if it your dog or you know whose it is. Kevin, 206.979.9694

Thank you for stopping to help that dog. I have stopped twice this year to save strays from traffic. I hope you find the owner, I’m sure they are upset he is missing. At least I hope so. If not and you need help finding a new home for him just contact me and I’ll do what I can to help.

I would foster to adopt this little one if no one claims him. Also, I adopted my little guy from Motley Zoo, they also foster to adopt and I trust them completely. Great program. tcilona@sccd.ctc.edu

Thank you Paul. After a short time on my facebook page, I have several interested parties too. But priority is helping him find his way home! BTW – he does have a microchip but the only info it provided was a general last location of Los Angeles. No name or phone number. Reminder to those who have microchipped dogs, please take the few minutes to register the chip to you personally! It will make you lost pets time gone much shorter!

Let us know if there was a vet cost – we would contribute! The pup is very cute!!! You need a third if the owner doesn’t step up:-) do you have a right to “screen” e pro ported owner – like asking how it got loose and kind of trying to make sure it was neglect? I know people who will gladly explain this to any reticent owner!

That dog (Ginger) is a sheba, they look like a little fox. This little guy is a chihuahua type. Please keep looking for Ginger the Sheba

We had a separate listing for a Shiba Inu on which someone mentioned Ginger. Hope it has been determined whether or not it’s him/her.
