West Seattle, Washington
29 Friday
I found a dog on the corner of Spokane St. and Chelan Ave. in West Seattle with no collar, stopped and called her to my car. She happily jumped right in and was all over me. I didn’t know what to do and I couldn’t take her home with me. After an hour of calling many places I finally found one that could take her. I forgot to take a photo but she is a black and white lab mix I think. Medium size dog. I reported her lost to the non emergency line, and took her to the Seattle Veterinary Hospital on Madison St.
Hi, I think this may be my son’s dog. I called the Seattle Veterinary Hospital on Madison but they said they haven’t had a dog fitting her description brought in today. Also, I’m listed as the alternate contact on her chip, but no vet has called me yet, nor has AdvoPet (the microchip service). If you have any other info that might be helpful, I would be so grateful! Thanks :)
Actually I found someone who found the owner. The owner will not contact me. The dog I found did not have a chip.
OK, well, if it’s resolved, then, thanks! we’ll mark this as such. – TR
This is not resolved. They are not reunited. I’m not sure who the owner of this dog is. Someone is claiming it to be their son’s dog but the dog does not have a chip.
Finally resolved/reunited. Lucy is home. Thank you again Savannah, Kevin, and WSB!
