I hope someone didn’t leave her on purpose. Poor baby. Thank you for taking her to a safe place! If you do call animal control, please post on here where she ends up (Seattle Animal Shelter, Humane Society, etc.). I know a great Border Collie Rescue Organization that may be able to take her in and adopt her out.

Caitlin – I am adding a note that the finder has taken her to Seattle Animal Shelter in Interbay, after several hours elapsed. And there is an updated note on the pole now. I’m also sharing this in our social-media channels just in case someone knows someone who knows someone who knows someone … etc.

Thanks to the person that rescued my dog from the pole that her chain was wrapped around. I had her chained in the backyard and she pulled it out and jumped the gate. I bailed her out of the shelter, and licensed her, so she’s tagged and chipped for the next time she escapes from the yard. I just got her, so I haven’t had a chance to have better accommodations for her. Thanks again.
