katydidMemberI’d be interested in learning what other WSB’ers read, listen and watch to become so well informed.

BonnieParticipantI watch and read the news on komo 4. I used to watch king 5 but they made it so you had to sign in to read their website so I changed to channel 4. LOL! I haven’t gone back to king 5. Dumb reason, I know.

charlabobParticipantRachel Maddow (Air America Radio and commentator on MSNBC)
Keith Olbermann
Wall Street Journal (don’t know how long that will last — until Murdoch makes it a tabloid)
Wired
The Progressive Populist and Utne (kind of a Readers’ Digest of the Left)
Jewish Forward
Many more but those are the must reads. I don’t even pretend to be well-informed — just eclectic. :-)

JanSParticipantCharla…love the Utne Reader…probably the best mag out there (of course I’m still prejudiced about trade mags, but they don’t count for news.)
I do listen to a variety of local news stations, also look at the NYT occasionally online, the SEattle Times and PI online, MSNBC, CNN…and have recently started reading the Huffington Post and http://www.whitehouse.com

WSMomParticipantI get my info from JoB, CharlaBob & Ken :)

Seattle Times

March 21, 2008 at 4:41 pm #619259
charlabobParticipantLet me second (or third) the Daily Show, Colbert, and sometimes the ever snarky Bill Maher. I’m young enough to watch them faithfully and old enough to forget they’re news :-)
March 21, 2008 at 4:43 pm #619260
beachdrivegirlParticipantI agree I forgot those other three too…:)
March 21, 2008 at 4:57 pm #619261
AnonymousInactiveWSMom – the comment about JoB, CharlaBob and Ken made me laugh. That’s where I get my info too!
I also get a lot of info from the smartest man I know, My fella.
Oh, and also the Wall Street Journal.
Don’t watch T.V.
Any link that is posted on this forum.
